A Disappointing Experience at the Alpenglow HotelI recently had the opportunity to stay at the Alpenglow Hotel during my travels to the Swiss Alps, looking forward to an overall luxurious experience in this picturesque region. My visit was marred by a significant issue that overshadowed the hotel's offerings. Despite the appealing location and modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi in public areas and a flat-screen TV in the room, a grave oversight occurred when my elderly parents were denied check-in due to an unverified payment. Rather than resolving the matter, the staff hastily sent them away, leaving them without support. While the hotel features beneficial facilities, including 24-hour reception, air conditioning, and a restaurant, the experience proved unsatisfactory overall. Potential guests should weigh both the luxuries offered and the value of a seamless stay when considering their options. In this case, the cost did not align with the value promised.
